Daigle Marketing LLC ("Daigle Marketing", "we") builds and hosts websites for local businesses from Tampa, Florida. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers daiglemarketing.com, our client dashboard, the websites we host for clients, and our emails and calls to businesses.
What we collect
When you contact us. What you type into our form: your name, phone number, email address, type of business and message.
Public business information. To build free website previews and contact businesses, we use details that businesses publish about themselves in public listings such as Google Maps: business name, category, address, phone number, opening hours and whether it has a website. We don't copy customer reviews.
Clients and their teams. Email addresses and names of the people who use the dashboard, the business details and content you add (text, hours, prices, announcements), the photos and logos you upload (we remove hidden location and camera data from photos when you upload them), sign-in times and the type of device and browser used to sign in, and whether two-factor sign-in is on.
Payments. Stripe processes payments. We see the amount, date and status of each payment and the last digits of the card or account, never full card or bank numbers.
Visitors to websites we host. Messages sent through a site's contact form go to that business, which decides how to use them. To stop spam we keep a scrambled code made from the sender's IP address that changes every day and is erased after 30 days. Visit counts are cookie-free and stored only as daily totals (pages viewed, taps on call or directions buttons, and general sources such as "Google"). We don't track individual visitors.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and basic request details to deliver pages and protect them from attacks. Our spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) looks at technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots.
How we use AI
We use AI tools from Anthropic (Claude) to help draft website text and the first emails we send to businesses. We give the AI only public business details (name, category, services, location and hours). We never give it contact-form messages, payment information, uploaded photos or anything typed into the dashboard.
A person reviews every AI-drafted email before it's sent, and clients can change any wording on their site at any time. AI doesn't make decisions about you. We don't use your information to train AI models. There's no AI chat on our sites.
How we use information
To reply to you, build and host websites, deliver contact-form messages to the right business, send sign-in links, monthly reports and billing notices, keep our services secure, and meet legal and tax obligations. We don't sell personal information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
These companies process information for us, only to provide their service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (business listings and our own email), and Anthropic (AI drafting, public business details only). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. The client dashboard uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Websites we host don't use cookies. Details are in our cookie notice.
How long we keep it
- Contact-form messages: two years, then deleted automatically.
- Spam-check codes: 30 days.
- Sign-in links: 20 minutes. Sign-in sessions: 30 days.
- Website previews: taken down after 45 days if the business doesn't want them, or sooner on request. Listing details for businesses that say no are deleted.
- Client sites, uploaded photos and dashboard accounts: deleted within 30 days after hosting ends, unless you ask us for a copy first.
- Security logs of dashboard changes: one year.
- Backups: 14 days. The final copy of a deleted site: 30 days.
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires.
- "Do not contact" requests: kept as a scrambled code so we never contact that address or number again.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We reply within 30 days. Clients can edit or delete their content and photos in the dashboard at any time. To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email from us. To stop calls, tell us on the call or through our form.
Security
Everything is served over HTTPS. The dashboard uses one-time sign-in links instead of passwords, offers two-factor sign-in (required for our staff), and limits each account to its own websites. Two-factor keys are encrypted, sign-in links are stored only in scrambled form, and access to client data is limited to the people who need it.
Children
Our services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell clients by email about important changes.
